Astbury Sailsports Ltd are specialists in expert water-sports tuition, specialising in Windsurfing, Dinghy sailing and Kayaking. They are a Royal Yachting Association recognised training centre. Facilities include free hot showers, safety cover, first-aid and an on-site snack bar serving drinks and chocolate bars and ice-cream.

From A34 South – On the approach to Congleton you will pass through Astbury village and pass Astbury Church, when you see the Mazda Garage on the left hand side, and the new church on the right, turn right through the green gates and follow the road down the hill to find us at the water’s edge.

From A34 North – Follow the Congleton by-pass past Tesco and McDonalds, keep following A34 signposted Newcastle, continue past the Wagon and Horses pub on the A34, the brown Astbury Mere Country Park is not to our entrance. Continue past the brown Astbury Mere Country Park sign and turn left by the new church opposite the Mazda garage. Follow the road down the hill to find us at the water’s edge.

From the M6 – Exit Junction 17 sign-posted Congleton and follow the signs for Congleton. Just after the welcome to the borough of Congleton sign, turn right at the traffic lights by the school onto Padgbury Lane, and follow Padgbury lane until the junction at the end. Entrance to the site is directly opposite you through the green gates. Follow the road down the hill to find us at the water’s edge.
