• About: Started volunteering at Astbury Sailsports Ltd. in 2004 after work experience through school and never really left afterwards. Now in his seventh season at Astbury Sailsports Ltd. Matt is a keen windsurfer, Dinghy sailor and paddler. Later this year he will be doing his Dinghy Instructor course to add a third sport to his teaching abilities. Whilst gaining his Instructor qualifications, Matt has also been to university and graduated with a 2:1 honours degree in Forensic Science from Staffordshire University in 2009.

• About:I started Kayaking about 8 years ago here at Astbury on a taster session and I realised straight away that it was something that I really wanted to take further, so I kept coming back and gained my 1, 2 and 3* with Astbury and have since gained my 4* Sea and Level 1 Coach. Whilst acting as a volunteer coach I gained recognition as the first BCU Young Volunteer of the Year in 2008.

• About me: I started going to Astbury through Reaseheath College during my time there on the Adventure Sports Course. I went to Astbury for my work experience as part of my Reaseheath course and never really left. I went there as a paddler but during my time there I have also learnt to sail and windsurf, and recently completed my Dinghy Instructor course.  In the near future I also aim to become a Windsurfing Instructor to add to the sports that I can teach.
