		<title>End Of Season Regatta and Curry</title>
		<description><![CDATA[Come and celebrate another fantastic year at Astbury on the 30th October!!! We are having a day of racing and fun followed by our traditional trip up the hill to Nabanno’s Indian restaurant.
Boats and windsurfing kit will be booked on a first come, first served basis. The dinghy fleet will all race at the same time and results will be calculated using the Portsmouth Yardstick, and windsurfing fleets will be 3.5m, 4.5m, 5.8m, and 6.8m.

		<description><![CDATA[We still have the last few places available for our Junior Summer Courses, which run every week of the summer holidays. The courses run Tuesday-Friday, with the beginner courses running 10:00am-1:00pm, and the more advanced courses and the multi-activity courses running 2:00pm-5:00pm. The courses are £105 per person. Becoming an RYA Dinghy Instructor can be a fantastic way to do just that!
We at Astbury Sailsports Ltd are running Dinghy Instructor course, Powerboat Level 2, and a First Aid course; everything you need to become a Dinghy instructor.
We have a first aid course running on the 12th of July, costing £85. This course is the RYA course and covers drowning and hypothermia.

		<title>Team 15 Event 2 &#8211; Scotsman&#8217;s Flash</title>
		<description><![CDATA[
On the 18th of June 2011, Team Astbury, the local youth windsurfing team based at Astbury Mere, went to Scotsman’s Flash, near Wigan, to compete in the second Team 15 event of the year.
Great weather, combining sun and wind, led to a fantastic event at the new venue, with lots of volunteers helping the event run so smoothly.

		<title>Olympic Fever at Astbury Mere</title>
		<description><![CDATA[
On 4th of June 2011 there was a tense atmosphere at Astbury Mere, as the young sailors got fired up for the 2012 Olympics by holding their own Mini-Olympic event, in association with the Sail for Gold initiative being led by the RYA (Royal Yachting Association).
Sail for Gold is the RYA’s initiative aimed at inspiring people to try sailing and/or windsurfing to get a better understanding of the two Olympic Sports. With the Olympics around the corner there is no better time to get out on the water!

		<title>Team 15 Event 1 &#8211; Astbury Sailsports 28th May 2011</title>
		<description><![CDATA[The first Team 15 event of the year was held at Astbury Sailsports on the 28th May 2011. 36 kids took part in the competition including  a full team of 15 from the hosts at Astbury. Some fantastic racing was held in all the fleets with close competition from all the teams, in changeable conditions. The overall team results were: -
