Windsurfing is a fantastic sport encompassing people of all ages and walks of life. With the right instruction and equipment plus regular time on the water, you’ll soon be moving past the basics.

By following the RYA National Windsurfing Scheme and using the highly successful coaching model “Fast Forward” you will soon be blasting around, totally hooked and your life will change for ever!!!! – Beware this sport is addictive!

Private Coaching

As with all or of our sports we are more than happy to teach you on a private lesson basis, at any level, at a time when it is convenient for you.  This proves to be a time efficient, convenient and effective way to learn and you can still work at your own pace through the RYA syllabus.

£42 for one 1-2-1 lesson for one hour plus one practice hour

£160 block of 4 x 2 hour sessions as above. Includes logbook

Start Windsurfing

This introductory course will teach you the basics of the sport and will quickly get you windsurfing around the lake.   You will learn about the equipment, the wind, and all you need to know to be able to come back and hire the equipment whenever you like. This is usually achievable in four 1 hour lessons, with four 1 hour practice sessions.

Intermediate Windsurfing

As there is such a lot to cover, we split the intermediate into two parts;

Part 1—Non planing

The first introduction to the Fastfwd coaching system and on more advanced kit. Sailing in stronger winds and getting to grips with the harness. Improving tacking, gybing and beach starts.

Part 2—Planing Best to book on forecast

Moving on to more dynamic transitions, blasting control when planning, using footstraps, smaller boards and bigger sails.
